These links can be internal, but one way external links are 10 times as important as reciprocal links. Choose your one way links to and from very cautiously. If you are linked to sites under construction or low Page Ranking (PR) sites you get dinged by Google and your PR is affected.

    Always remember to link resposnibly - make your link campaigns natural. If you get 10 or even 20 links over night the search engines can tell depending on your history, traffic logs and other data that these links were coerced, fabricated or purchased.
